Brampton-On September 30, 2020 Jeff Yurek, Minister of Environment Conservation and Parks announced the provincial government’s intention to expand eligible food and organic waste material for the green bin program.
The changes to the Food and Organic Waste Policy Statement (the Policy Statement) would clarify the types of food and organic waste about which the province expects that efforts are made to reduce waste and engage in resource recovery.
