Amit Bhargava - Panelist
Amit is a seasoned Environmental and Regulatory Compliance professional with 25 years of widely varied experience in the industry. Over the past 4 years, Amit and his team at EnviroApps are making the transportation of hazardous waste and dangerous goods safer in Canada through digitalization of shipping documents. Regulations require shipping documents to accompany hazardous materials during their transport, however, when an emergency occurs, Emergency Responders cannot access these paper documents from the Truck. EnviroApps is also making shipping compliance easier, thereby saving time and costs.

As a former Executive at Trimac Transportation, Marcel has a well-rounded background that spans operations, Industrial Services, Procurement, Safety, Fleet Innovation, and the forward-looking fields of Sustainability and Renewable Energy.
His extensive industry expertise has made him a strategic leader, a valued collaborator, and a prominent influencer within the transportation and supply chain geopolitical landscape. As Co-Founder and President of IQ Trucking Consultants Inc., Marcel now provides insights and strategic guidance to both public and private organizations, as well as industry associations, on a range of critical initiatives.
A seasoned speaker, Marcel frequently presents at leading transportation conferences, association meetings, and webinars worldwide, sharing his knowledge on key industry trends and innovations.
Vic Gupta - Moderator
Vic Gupta joined PRL in 2023 and has over 15 years of professional experience in Risk Management and Transportation Fleet Safety. He has worked on the client, insurer, and broker side, providing risk services to insureds, insurance captives, MGA’s, programs and performing M&A due diligence. His fleet safety and risk services experience spans many different industry segments, including logistics, trucking, public transport, mining & energy, agriculture, construction and emerging technology including SE&M (Shared Economy and Mobility). Vic has conducted educational training for carriers and industry groups including presenting and speaking at various industry symposiums and seminars. Moreover, he has experience in insurance captive solution pricing and has been a columnist and editor for trucking industry magazines.
As PRL Risk Consulting’s Transportation Fleet Safety expert, Vic is responsible for assessments and evaluating both the safety and risk management practices for all manner of transportation risks, as well as providing suggestions for improvement. This role requires Vic to be cognizant of all regulatory issues, both in Canada and the United States, relating to transportation, as well as industry best practices.
