OWMA sent the following letter to David Piccini, Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks requesting a time extension for the Hazardous and Special Products Program Transition due to unintended effects permissible by the current provisions of Regulation 449/21 Hazardous and Special Products (HSP Regulation) that will cause adverse impacts to Ontario’s hazardous waste and special products industry.
